In the very heart of Palma’s Old Town an iconic Art Nouveau building has been reimagined for gracious, modern living.

Built in 1904, the five-storey building was once the city dwelling of one of Mallorca’s noble families. Now it is being redeveloped to offer an exclusive collection of elegant, urban homes.

When complete, Bosseria will consist of seven one-of-a-kind apartments, some featuring sunny roof terraces with views over the city skyline, others offering leafy internal courtyards and bay windows overlooking the street.

Because the building is protected due to its historic importance, many of the original architectural and decorative features have been preserved throughout.
The marriage between these unique characteristics and modern amenities create homes that are infused with history, whilst being fully equipped for contemporary living.”

The Interior

Conceived by Stockholm-based interior design firm Whyte Lilja, the residences at Bosseria blend original Art Nouveau features with modern materials and contemporary decor to create graceful, timeless interiors.

Beautiful antique floor tiles, beamed ceilings, wooden window frames and antique fireplaces have been preserved and restored, ensuring each home becomes the guardian of its unique history.

These historic details have been carefully integrated into a refined palette of white, oatmeal and soft grey tones, with plenty of built-in storage to ensure restful, uncluttered living.

In keeping with contemporary lifestyles, cooking and living spaces are bright and open, and kitchens and bathrooms feature clean lines, white surfaces and elegant fixtures for a modern, minimalist twist. In the bedrooms, Mallorquin tiles, vintage timber flooring and built-in closets or dressing rooms create welcoming private retreats.

All apartments are equipped with high quality appliances, including fridges, freezers, dishwashers and induction cooktops. Washers and dryers are tucked away out of sight in utility rooms and a lift provides easy access to every floor.

The Bathrooms

Let the stresses and strains of the day wash away in your spa-like bathroom, where the cool white tones and minimalist design are instantly soothing. Take a long, relaxing soak in the bathtub or step behind the hammered glass screen for a revitalising shower.

There are no hard edges in these private sanctuaries, only the gentle curves of Starck-designed fixtures, the elegant arc of mixer taps and soft backlighting behind large mirrors. Marble-topped vanities, textured tiles and smoked bronze fittings all add a tactile element and timeless elegance to the contemporary design.

The Bedrooms

From floor to ceiling, the bedrooms wrap you in soft, warm colours and textures to calm your senses and ease you into a restful state.

Antique painted floor tiles or dark timber floors are paired with neutral curtains and muted wall colours to create calm, inviting spaces.

Full height built-in closets or separate dressing rooms ensure bedrooms remain uncluttered, helping you slip into sleep, and the filtered light entering through the patio windows ensures each new day dawns softly.

Discover your apartment

This Art Nouveau gem with walking distance to everything will consist of seven exclusive homes. There will be five spacious apartments with balconies, and two impressive penthouses with private roof terraces from where you have spectacular views over the sea, rooftops, past church towers and the Cathedral.

Bosseria is located in the very heart of Palma’s gentrified old town, a collection of
winding alleys and traffic-free streets where history seems to breathe from the cool stone walls. The area buzzes with activity by day, but when the shops and
businesses close, the streets fall silent as the city sleeps.

It is only steps away from Plaza Mayor, a central square where street performers
gather and tourists sip coffees in the sun, and a few minutes walk from the Town Hall at Plaza Cort, the iconic Cathedral and the grand Almudaina Palace.

Immediately surrounding Bosseria is a mix of residential streets, pedestrian alleys
lined with boutiques, and eclectic tapas bars and restaurants. Stroll around the area and you will pass ornate churches, catch glimpses into hidden patios, and emerge unexpectedly into quiet, leafy squares.

This is the joy of Palma’s old town: it’s a place where you can step from colourful
scenes filled with people into streets so empty that time appears to have stood still. It’s a place filled with quirks and curiosities, where past and present meet, and where there is always something new to discover.
